Twenties Conference

Dates: Suspended

Out of respect for a wedding amongst the 20's community falling on the same weekend and for those who desire to attend that wedding, the 20's Conference has been suspended until further notice. For information concerning its possible re-scheduling, please contact us.

Women's Retreat

Dates: September 16 - 19, 2010

As women, we often become weighed down with the cares of this world and caring for others. We are nurturers and caregivers by nature. As a result, we often neglect our own needs. For many of us, this can become problematic when we approach the busy holiday season each year. For this reason we have decided to move our Women’s Retreat to September, and will take the time then to celebrate together the birth and life of Jesus Christ, our Firm Foundation.

This year’s Women’s Retreat will focus on our personal relationship with our Lord Jesus. We will take the time to enjoy a traditional “Christmas in September” celebration without having to bake, wrap gifts, plan parties, send cards, decorate, or complete any of the other ‘busyness’ of the season. Instead, we will take time to revisit the joy of celebrating Christ’s birth, the pleasure of giving to one another in service, and the peace of worshipping unhindered by distractions. You are warmly invited to come and enjoy the fellowship of Sisters in Christ for this celebration.

Men's Camp

Dates: October 21 - 24, 2010

Someone once wisely noted that the darker the night, the more brightly the candle burns. We hear story after story of people in desperate situations as the darkness of this world intensifies, and now is the time when we, as men of God, have an opportunity to burn brightly for Him.

Calamity and persecution are nothing new to the Body of Christ. For thousands of years men of God have responded with faith and tenacity as they advanced against great adversity. The weapons of our warfare are mighty for the pulling down of demonic strongholds and all that opposes the kingdom of our God. This year our Men’s Camp will focus on equipping men of God to stand and respond more effectively in these difficult times.

We anticipate a powerful, enriching, and Christ-centered time in a beautiful outdoor setting as we fellowship together and celebrate biblical manhood, especially being men full of grace and power. If you have attended one of our men’s weekends, you know how spiritually rejuvenating it can be. If you have not been to one, come and join us this year. We would love to have you!

Silent Retreat

Dates: October 27 - 31, 2010

Have you ever felt like you wanted more from your relationship with God and our Lord Jesus Christ? Have you ever felt like you were stuck and you can’t hear His voice anymore, but in the busyness of your day you can’t even find 20 minutes to spend with Him?

God created us to have an intimate relationship with Him and in order to do this we must find the time to be with Him and listen to all His Word has to tell us. The Silent Retreat gives you the time that you need in your busy life to renew and refresh your relationship with your Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ.

The Silent Retreat is a great place to take the time to quiet your heart and listen to His voice. Many people use this retreat to quietly spend time with God and the Lord Jesus in prayer, reading, journaling and rest in the setting of our beautiful camp. As you discipline yourself to pray and listen, you can begin to discern the voice of God.
